How does the DYNELLO® Clip for lashing strap storage work?
The clip is a simple solution to the problem that coiled lashing straps tend to wind up during transport. The DYNELLO® Clip is attached to the coiled lashing strap, preferably close to the metal hook, and prevents the strap from winding up during storage. The clip therefore ensures that your lashing straps are stored neatly.
What does 50mm, 35mm and 25mm in size mean?
The measurement indicates the width of the lashing strap that the clamp fits.
50mm wide lashing straps are typically the 4-5000kg model used in heavy load securing.
35mm wide straps are typically the 2-3000kg model used by many craftsmen.
25mm wide straps are typically the 500-800kg model, which is widely used by trailer- and caravan owners, etc.
Should I choose the 50mm clip in steel or plastic?
Our absolute bestseller is the blue strap clamp in impact-resistant plastic. This is partly because it is more widespread in the market as it has been around for longer, but also because it is very price-friendly.
The main difference is the material, plastic vs. stainless steel. Both models are very robust, with the stainless steel model being particularly robust.
Unlike the steel clamps, the blue strap clamp also has inbuilt ‘barbs’ that make it hook extra well into the lashing strap.
